“GRANDMA’S POUNDCAKE”

(SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE),

 

//2 STICKS OF BUTTER (room temp)

 

//3 cups sugar

 

//6 eggs  ( blend these top 3 items together)

Then add *

*2 1/2 cups of plain flour,

*1/2 cup self rising flour,

 

*1 cup sour cream (sweet heavy cream can be substituted),

 

*1 tbls of flavoring  (vanilla, vanilla butternut, lemon,caramel) only 1 tbls, let your imagination inspire you.

 

grease pan and lightly flour to keep cake from sticking to pan.

 

mix all ingredients and bake for 1 and 1/2 hours at 325 degrees
